Internationally recognized organizations can also take advantage of this program.

Types of organizations

The non-profit program by smenso was established to support non-profit organizations in their work. The following organizations are currently excluded from participating in our discount program:

• Religious organizations whose primary goal is to spread a specific faith or that do not offer services to people outside of that faith.
• Hospitals, hospital support organizations, and nurse registries.
• Mutual societies and credit unions.
• Organizations that provide benefits or services to members or employees, such as fraternal societies, orders, or clubs.

Organizations that promote, support, or practice discrimination based on age, ethnicity, gender, national origin, disability, race, body size, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background are excluded from participation. To participate in our discount program, organizations must be able to confirm that they do not practice discrimination based on these grounds.

We require proof of non-profit status from your organization as well as the bylaws to obtain information about the purpose of your organization’s operations:

The determination notice and the exemption notice issued by the tax office serve as proof that your association is recognized as a non-profit organization. This means that the association is tax-privileged as a corporation and is authorized to issue donation receipts. Both legally capable and non-legally capable associations can obtain non-profit status.

1. Fill out the form: Confirm your affiliation with your organization and your eligibility to participate in the “smenso for non-profit organizations” program. Additionally, upload a corresponding document that confirms the non-profit status of your organization.

2. Check your emails: Our sales team will review your request to determine if you and your non-profit organization meet the requirements for the special discount. Keep an eye on your inbox for an email from a team member at smenso. If you are eligible, this email will contain all the information on how you can benefit from the non-profit conditions.

3. Receive the offer and complete the subscription: You will receive an offer tailored to you and your organization. Create your smenso account by setting up a workspace and receive a 50% discount on any subscription of your choice. You can choose between a monthly or annual subscription in the Business plan. As long as you use smenso, we will periodically verify your organization’s non-profit status. We will also ask about your organization’s current purpose and activities to ensure you continue to meet the requirements for our program.
